چکیده
The paper studies the influence of 0.5–1.8 wt.% Ni alloying on superplasticity, microstructural evolution, and dynamic grain growth effect in a temperature range 625–775 °C room mechanical properties two-phase Ti-Al-Mo-V alloys. Due to decrease β transus an enhancement alloy diffusivity, increase content significantly improved superplasticity. Ni-modified alloys exhibited 1.5–3-fold lower flow stress, 2.5–3-fold greater elongation failure, 1.4–1.7-fold higher strain rate sensitivity m coefficient compared Ni-free alloy. An intermetallic Ti2Ni compound precipitated 1.8 during low-temperature deformation at 700 decreased superplastic properties. Ti-4Al-3Mo-1V-0.1B with 0.9 good combination behavior room-temperature properties: failure 500–900% constant 1 × 10−3 s−1 yield strength 885 MPa ultimate tensile 1020 after pre-straining for 100% regime strengthening heat treatment.

Nanoscale Cellular Structures at Phase Boundaries of Ni-Cr-Al-Ti and Ni-Cr-Mo-Al-Ti Superalloys
The microstructural evolution of Ni-20 pct Cr wires was studied during pack cementation where Al and Ti, with and without prior cementation with Mo, are deposited to the surface of the NiCr wires and subsequently homogenized in their volumes. Mo deposition promotes the formation of Kirkendall pores and subsequent co-deposition of Al and Ti creates a triple-layered diffusional coating on the wir...

Neutron diffraction has been used for in-situ investigations to elucidate the phase transformation behavior of two Mo-containing TiAl alloys with compositions of Ti-44Al3Mo and Ti-44Al-7Mo (in at.%). Five different phases are present in these alloys. These include three ordered phases at room temperature, namely a2, b0 and c and two disordered phases, a and b, which occur at higher temperatures...

Microstructure and Tensile Behavior of Laser Arc Hybrid Welded Dissimilar Al and Ti Alloys
Fiber laser-cold metal transfer arc hybrid welding was developed to welding-braze dissimilar Al and Ti alloys in butt configuration. Microstructure, interface properties, tensile behavior, and their relationships were investigated in detail. The results show the cross-weld tensile strength of the joints is up to 213 MPa, 95.5% of same Al weld. The optimal range of heat input for accepted joints...
متن کاملMicrostructure Evolution During Al, Ti, and Mo Surface Deposition and Volume Diffusion in Ni-20Cr Wires and Woven Structures
Ni-20 wt pct Cr wires, as individual wires or within 3D woven structures, are alloyed with Mo, Al, and Ti by gas-phase surface deposition and volume interdiffusion. Mo deposition creates Mo-rich coating and Kirkendall pores. Al+Ti co-deposition creates uniform triple-layered coating. The resulting homogenized and aged Ni-(17.4-19.6)Cr-(1.6-1.8)Al-(2.5-3.6)Ti-(1.54.5)Mo(wt pct) wires exhibit c+ ...
